Look What We Discovered: Animals Uncovered

For Early Childhood

In Look What We Discovered: Animals Uncovered, young children become “zoologists.” They study about animals and their behaviors. They have an opportunity to explore animals in their habitats through the use of “simulation software.”

This project is designed to develop student’s reading readiness and emergent reading skills through a developmental process. It also addresses many of the New York City Performance Standards. It introduces young students to the concept of research and related strategies, while offering them a genuine opportunity to present their information in front of an audience.
