Welcome to TechKNOW Associates Train the Trainer Materials page. This page contains the handouts, notes, presentations and other materials discussed at the Teacher Created Materials' session conducted by TechKNOW Associates. We hope that materials assist you during your training sessions.

The files contained on this page are in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Inspiration or PDF format.

PDF files are files that can be read by either a Mac or a PC. It requires Acrobat Reader, which is a common application on most computers. They are generally larger in size since they preserve the format of a document. What you see is what you get. This is a good way to download documents if you wish to use them as is. All the documents are provided in pdf so that you do not need other software to view their contents.

Word files are generally smaller in size and allow you to easily modify their contents. However, you may experience formatting issues as fonts, page size and printer differences can affect the way the document  appears on your computer. This is a good way to download documents if you wish to make changes. You need Microsoft Word to open these files.

The PowerPoint files contained on this page are very large, since they consist of graphics as well as text. You need a high speed connection or a lot of time to download these. You need PowerPoint to open these files.

Inspiration is a graphic organizer. We have provided the Writing Process file in this original format for those who wish to modify it.
